The most wonderful time of the year, Christmas, birthday, back to school? Not even close, I’m talking about Nationals. The ASN Canada FIA Canadian Karting Championships is a must-attend event, whether you’re racing, coaching, tuning, or observing. From the first day of practice to the final race, you will have the time of your life. I have been counting down the days for this week since last year’s Nationals at Goodwood Kartways. Nationals is instant happiness – A heaping handful of drivers, beautiful track and venue, constant sound of engines roaring and an awesome time with all of your teammates and friends/family.
I am beyond excited for this event, Mont-Tremblant is a challenging yet extremely fun track. It pushes you to your limits and tutors you about the art of working with other drivers. The track teaches you things that a coach couldn’t. With long straightaways, tight turns, and vigorous chicanes it is certainly a test of the best.
As per norm, the PSL Moncton team has a very lengthy haul up, drives ranging from 14-18 hours. This year PSL Moncton has a wicked amount of drivers in the Briggs divisions, 7 in the Junior class and 8 in Senior. The excitement and energy in our tent from new drivers and veterans is forever radiating. I firmly believe that this event will be one for the books for our team as well as many others, a Nationals never forgotten.
Stay tuned for my upcoming blogs,
