With the annual Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals just around the corner, eleven Canadian drivers are anxiously preparing for their chance to shine in front of the Rotax world. Rotax Max Challenge Canada is also busy getting everything ready for Canada’s arrival and today they released the race suits that Team Canada members will wear in Portimao, Portugal this November.
Modelled by RMC Canada’s Patrick Moreau, Canada will wear primary black with red accents, similar to the outfits worn in 2012 when Canada competed at the same Portugal track, claiming three podium appearances including the Rotax DD2 Grand Finals title and finished runner-up in the Teams Cup.
“I am very proud to present the 2015 Team Canada racing suits. They just arrived and I think they are simply amazing. Andrew Campbell from ORG offered me his help for the design. With the Grand Finals two weeks earlier this year, we had to work very quickly and I am very satisfied of the results with the short delay we had to work. First concept from Andrew was already excellent, so we just had to fine tune it. This is our first time with ORG and the choice of the manufacturer was based on the quality of their product and their capacity to deliver quickly. I hope Team Canada members will like it as much as me. Rotax put in place a specific “Team Contest” this year for our appearance and we will surely be a team to watch!
Nothing could have been possible without the big help of our sponsors and on behalf of the drivers, I would like to say a big thank you to ASN Canada FIA, Sur la Montagne, Investissements Monsap inc, Fana, Groupe Petra, Ferrari Québec, Champion Spark Plugs, Pfaff Motorsports, Automobiles Etcetera, Ron Fellows and SRA Karting.”
– Patrick Moreau, RMCGF Team Canada Manager
Designed by Andrew Campbell of ORG North America, the suits feature a refreshing new look that will keep Team Canada as one of the best appearing teams at the Rotax Grand Finals.
“It was an honour to be the designer for Team Canada as I could provide an opportunity for the drivers and mechanics to feel proud in their gear. Motorsports is driven by image and proper branding; it’s important we look great while competing at the pinnacle of Rotax events.”
– Andrew Campbell, ORG North America
Team Canada will arrive in Portugal for the event held from November 8 to 14.
