ROK Cup International Final Features 5 Canadian Drivers

While we are in Italy for the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, covering the sixteen Canadian drivers taking part, there are also five more Canadian drivers in the country of Italy, only they are competing in the Vortex ROK Cup International at the South Garda Karting facility about six hours away.

It is a busy time of year for manufacturer hosted events and this weekend is the biggest with both Rotax Max and Vortex ROK hosting races with a combined entry of nearly 800 drivers!

Through the Coupe du Montreal, five Canadian drivers qualified for the ROK Shifter category and are competing under the ROK Cup USA banner.

Those drivers are:

Nicholas Bedard
Dany St-Hilaire
Jean-Francois Lafontaine
Dominic Legrand
Michel Legrand

The race will feature Rubens Barrichello in the ROK Shifter category, who has entered the race along with his two sons Eduardo (Junior ROK) and Fernando (Mini ROK).

Qualifying begins on Thursday, October 20 and we will keep you posted on how our Canadian drivers are doing.
