The Rotax Micro-Max is slowly building a solid foundation of new kart racers in the Quebec region as nine-karts took to the track today in Mont-Tremblant for the Quebec Cup. All day long, William Chayer (Birel) was the man to beat, and the youngster didn’t disappoint. Sweeping the days event, Chayer cruised to a convincing 14-second victory in the final going untouched from start to finish.
In a great battle for second, Tommy Simard (Birel) would hold off Andres De Alba (TonyKart) by only 0.293 seconds to finish second and third. Julien Jones (CRG) and Thomas Nepveu (CRG) would complete the top-five.
