Some Waterloo Regional Kart Club racers like and thrive on events that feature a qualifying format to the racing order. Those racers were in luck on Saturday July 5th. The club’s home track at Flamboro Speedway is a tough technical circuit, to get a fast lap you can’t make any errors. With large grids it wouldn’t be many laps and the fast runners would have slower karts to deal with. If you wanted the fastest qualifier trophy you have very few laps to get the job done. The following racers proved they were up to the task: Cadet- Christian Alger, Novice-Tyson Wassink, Jr. Lite- Aaron Turnbull, Jr. Heavy- Andrew Whelan, Sr. Medium, Darren Dryden, Masters, Brian Wilkinson.
