The Canadian Karting Challenge (CKC) and Innisfil Kart Club (IKC) would like to thank everyone for their support of the recent Bear Grand Prix at Shannonville. With a great turnout, lots of prizes, exciting racing action, and fun had by everyone, the event was an overwhelming success.
“We must thank everyone that supported us during the event,” explains Innisfil Indy’s Tony Launi. “Thank you to Steve & Mina from the Toronto Kart Club for supporting us, as well as all the Kawartha club and racers that came out from all over the region. We would also like to congratulate all the winners and all the participants on a job well done. An extra special thanks goes to all of our sponsors: Ultra Coat Industries, the Masini Family, D.I. Auto, the Iozzo Family, Canadian Tire, and the Campbells. Without your support, the Shannonville event would not be possible. Additionally, thank you especially to the Shannonville Motorsport Park, all the corner workers, Mr. Smith for ambulance services, the race director and all the volunteers for scoring and scales. Series officials would like to remind all racers the Saturday, August 8th night race will be a points race replacing IKC Race #4 from May 24th that was canceled due to the ECKC race. The night race will be lots of fun, with a barbeque for all. Also on Sunday, August 9th is the CKC points Race #5 with TKC. Please be sure to join in the racing and festivities – all clubs are welcome!
