On Sunday, April 13, seventeen karters graduated after successfully completing the joint Simcoe and Toronto kart club Driver Training Day at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton.
Full credit goes to all of the experienced Instructors that used their many years of go kart racing to teach the attendees. They were all in very good hands learning from the likes of Lead Instructors Glenn Butler and Enzo Chiovitti Jr., who where both ably assisted by Curtis Fox, Adam Kretschmer, and Darryl Timmers, along with current racers Ryan Mohan, Ellisondre St. Pierre, and Vassil Tchiplakov.
Special thanks to all of the Volunteers, including Sue Taylor, Trudy Barry, Lucie Fish, Don Ellis, Anand Mohan, Steve Walker, Bob Freier, Nick Palladino, Lui Savaglio, Patrick Lee, Todd Ricard, and Lynda Chiovitti, for assisting with Registration, and with marshaling the track throughout the day, in order to ensure a safe and productive environment for all.
Special thanks as well to Enzo Chiovitti Sr. and Bob Nebel for presenting comprehensive seminars that addressed the technical components of kart set-up and engine maintenance.
