In an effort to reward competitors for their results in the upcoming Rotax Pan-American Challenge, Race Tech Development (RTD) will be awarding the top five finishers in each division with RTD money. With over $1500.00 of RTD credit available, competitors will be vying for Pan-American Championships, a spot on their respective country’s teams and credit towards media services offered by Race Tech Development.
“I wanted to offer something to the karting community that would benefit the drivers and help them get the recognition they deserve,” expressed Race Tech Development’s Mike Maurini. “Providing exposure to some of the best up-and-coming karters is what we can do, and I have put up some credit towards the services we provide. We have helped drivers get the attention they need and deserve as they move through the ranks and what is better than to have the opportunity to help promote the Pan-American Champions?”
While the six race winners will receive the bulk of the awards, Race Tech Development will extend their offer throughout the top five.
Maurini added, “Winners will receive $100.00 of RTD credit while second and third place finishers will have the chance to use $75.00 and $50.00 respectively. Not wanting to leave out drivers that were able to work their way into the top five, $25.00 will be award to both the fourth and fifth place drivers.”
“Mike has really stepped up to the plate in 2013 and is supporting the sport of karting and the Rotax program,” explained MAXSpeed Group’s Josh Smith. “Not only is his media company providing these contingency awards, his race team, Koene USA, will also be present at the Rotax Pan-American Championships and is the Rotax Micro Max class sponsor.”
While the Race Tech Development awards are commonly used for media release work, credit can be put towards website design, hero card and logo creation, and website or sponsorship proposal text.
