During the final, Askew fell back to 3rd position, where he remained until the chequred flag. Gianfranco Mazzaferro continues to improve on his Shifter kart craft in his rookie gearbox season. Qualifying an impressive 5th position, Mazzaferro carries huge potential to excel in the class, and will continue competing in the 6-speed category. Scott Davidson travelled to the Florida Winter Tour to train and compete with world-class drivers. Davisdon qualified pole position for the master’s category, placing 2nd in the pre-final and scoring an enormously satisfying victory in the final. Enjoying the time spent on the track, the Shifter Masters driver remained confident throughout the event and impressed many with his speed and endurance. Racing in the ROK Mini category, Justin Arsenau continues to improve every time the young driver hit the track. Placing 16th in one of the most competitive classes featured at the Florida Winter Tour, Arsenau placed 16th in the final, keeping clear of incidents and continuously improving after every session. PSL Karting team manager, Coy Arbour praised his driver’s performance over the weekend. “Oliver Askew and the entire team were very impressive this weekend. Oliver showed he is one of the most versatile drivers on the grid today, and Gianfranco continues to build on his talents.
