MIKA will be one again be hosting their annual Summer Festival on July 27 and 28. The track configuration will be the long track for both days, however on Saturday the track will be run in reverse i.e.: clockwise and on Sunday the track will be run in the usual counter clockwise direction.
As always and for both Saturday and Sunday, registration will open at 7:30am with Drivers Briefing taking place at 8:45am, the on track action will start at 9:00am with practice. Entry fees for MIKA members are $70 per class per day and non MIKA members pay $80 per class per day. The classes on offer this weekend will be as follows:

Drivers who are competing on both days can pre-register Friday as the track will be open for practice from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Please note that the spec tires for all 4 stroke classes as well as Rotax Micr, Rotax Mini and Rotax Masters are Vega Blue all other Rotax classes run on Mojos. Spec tire for Pro Shifter is open.
Spec fuel station remains the Race Trac station at Regional Rd 20 and HWY 35.
SPECIAL EVENT PRIZES
Mosport International Karting in conjunction with Briggs and Stratton will be awarding a Briggs and Stratton Inverter Generator valued at $799.00 by randomly drawing from all registered Briggs and Stratton class participants DAILY. One winner will be drawn from Saturday’s registered Briggs racers and then again from Sunday’ registered Briggs racers.
MIKA will be also be adding special draw which will be held at the podium presentations both days, all registered participants on Saturday will draw for a $500.00 cash prize on again on Sunday participants will draw for $500.00
Competitors, family and friends are all encouraged to camp over on the Saturday night at no additional charge, there will also be racing on the Mosport Speedway for those adrenalin junkies who can’t get enough motor sport action, this will be the final event for the Speedway, it is also their fan appreciation night. MIKA member Russ Kroon’s family will again be preparing the BBQs with all proceeds going to the Oshawa Cancer Clinic. Our hosts, Ken and Robyn Flute will once again be putting on the traditional corn roast and bonfire.
