PR: MIKA Race #11 Preview

Sunday Sept 8th MIKA will be hosting Race # 11 on the 2013 Schedule and as always we can expect to see another great day’s racing with strong numbers in all the classes. The weekend’s track configuration will be the “Short Track with the Bowl” configuration, however, we will be running in the reverse direction ie: Clockwise.

Race day entry fees are $70 for MIKA members and $80 for Non-MIKA members. Registration will open at 7:30am, Drivers Briefing will be at 8:45am and Practice will start at 9:00am. All drivers are asked to please print off the necessary race day forms and fill them in prior to registration on Sunday morning to help speed up the process. The following classes will once again be on offer for the day:

Briggs Junior
Briggs Senior
Honda Junior
Honda Senior
Honda Masters
Rotax MiniMax (if numbers warrant)
Rotax Junior
Rotax Senior
Rotax Master
Rotax DD2
Pro Shifter

The race day format will consist of 1 Practice Session, followed by timed Qualifying, Pre-final and Final events.

Please note that the spec tires for all 4 Stroke classes as well as Rotax MiniMax and Rotax Masters are Vega Blue, all other Rotax classes run on Mojos, Junior D1, Senior D2, DD2 and DD2 Masters are on Mojo D3. Spec tire for Pro Shifter is open. As always, other clubs are more than welcome, so why not come on out and enjoy a great day with family and friends.

Due to rescheduling the track will not be available for practice Saturday Sept 7th, we will however be open Friday Sept 6th for those whose wish to setup and get in some laps.
