Information:
KMS North America will once again be attending the FWT after making its debut in the series last year and taking the DD2 crown with Ben Cooper. This year the team returns with 8 drivers under its new Gatael Tent and will be hoping for success in all classes.
Micro Max:
Jeremy Tallon will be the lone Micro driver in the team for the first round and will be looking to push on from last year after his experience at racing at the 2013 Rotax Grand Finals Micro Invitational. It will be an exciting year for Jeremy, who will be pushing for some strong results.
Senior Rotax:
Ben Cooper will be running in Sr Rotax for the first time since he took the 2012 FWT series and will be looking to do the same this year. He will be climbing aboard the new 2014 Birel Rotax chassis with the aim to work with his Birel teammate Luke Varley running under the Anderson Racing Tent, in order to push the Birel product to the front of the field.
DD2:
Out of the 8 drivers in the team there are 6 DD2 drivers with 5 of them being in the DD2 field and the one other in the DD2 Master class. This goes to show that the work of the team and Birel has been paying off in DD2 after their recent Rotax Euro Title and SKUSA SuperNationals Title.
Kevin Ludi once again returns to the team and to the sunshine of Florida. After taking 4th in the series last year Kevin will be aiming to move a few steps higher onto the top step of the podium.
Eugene Brittz will be running with the team after his outing with them in Las Vegas only a month ago. Having a lot of experience and some great results at previous World Finals Eugene will be looking forward to the challenge of the FWT.
Birels one and only Paolo De Conto will be running his second DD2 race after his strong run to 4th in the SKUSA SuperNationals. This will be his first time racing in Florida and he will be hoping to take a strong result home for KMS and Birel.
Not a new name to the FWT series but a new name to the KMS Team is Jordi van Moorsel. Jordi finished second in the FWT two years ago in Jr Rotax and will be hoping to go one step further, but this time in the DD2 field.
Santiago Mejia is a Columbian driver new to the team for the first FWT round this year. He will be hoping to learn and gain experience from the team.
DD2 Masters:
As was announced a week ago our new DD2 Masters driver Francis Mondou will be looking to learn the Birel chassis this weekend as he will run with the KMS team for the first time. We are excited to see how he can do this weekend.
