In keeping with K&K Kart’s “Mission Statement” of giving back to the karting community, K&K president Kevin Barrick, has stepped up with significant sponsorship towards the Briggs & Stratton Senior class, at Canada’s most prestigious karting event, the ASN Canadian Nationals, hosted by Goodwood Kartways, August 23-25.
After discussions with Dan Dileo, President of Goodwood Kartways, an agreement was reached for K&K Kart to sponsor the exciting Briggs and Stratton Senior class.
Barrick, a past president of Goodwood Kart Club, has a 42 year history with the Goodwood circuit, as well as deep passion for the sport. With the amazing growth of B&S in recent times, Barrick stated that, “it only made sense for K&K Kart contribute to this event .”
K&K Kart North America have dedicated their Italian manufacturing, to produce the purpose built, affordable, high quality, K&K 4-cycle Cobra chassis, specifically for Honda & Briggs Jr. & Sr. racing. The success of the K&K 4cycle Cobra chassis “has been nothing short of phenomenal,” Barrick states.
K&K drivers Jordan Latimer and Jonathan Treadwell are currently the ECKC Briggs & Stratton Junior and Senior points leaders. The K&K Team has been one of the largest contingents of dedicated 4-cycle drivers, at any current event. The last ECKC event had B&S class entries over 30, and it is expected that with the rapid growth of B&S, this number could easily reach 40-50 at the ASN Nationals, at Goodwood Kartways.
