With the dawn of a new Canadian karting season on the horizon, Innisfil Indy, one of Canada’s prominent GP Kart dealers, is set to provide tests in their high powered chassis. Taking place at the Innisfil Indy facility in Gilford, Ontario, anyone interested will have the chance to get behind the wheel of a 60cc, 80cc Junior, 125cc Junior or 125cc Senior shifter kart.
“We are looking to grow karting in Canada and specifically promote these classes,” explained Innisfil Indy’s Tony Launi. “Back in the day, the shifters were the backbone of the karting community and we have always promoted the class. Just as we have done in previous years, we will run it at our local club and regional program and look to increase the class numbers in 2014 and beyond.”
The Innisfil Indy and GP Kart chassis tests are available by appointment only, free of charge. Interested competitors are asked to contact Rose or Tony Launi via e-mail to racing@innisfilindy.com or call 905.775.4686.
Innisfil Indy would also like to remind competitors the Innisfil Kart Club training day is scheduled for April 26, 2014 starting at 9:00am. Classes required to attend include Novice and all Junior, as well as all new members. All ASN clubs are welcome!
