Veteran karter Dale Bonham poised himself on the top spot of the podium after over a year and a half at Point Pelee Kart Club over the weekend. The difference this weekend was being seated in a K&K kart for the very first time. Dale deservingly took pole position in qualifying, and lead 29/30 laps in the final. Being only the first time in the kart, the Bonham pit was extremely happy with the performance of the chassis.
Dale Bonham went as far as saying “this is the best chassis I have ever driven,” followed with “This kart is amazing, it does it for you.” These words were received with much delight from the heads of K&K North America as Dale drove the kart for the first time on race day.
The result from Bonham solidifies the objective of K&K, which is to provide a competitive out of the box chassis at a lower cost for new and existing families into the sport of karting.
