CRG West is extremely excited to announce a new and exciting affiliation with North American CRG importer and distributor PSL Karting. Known as one of the most decorated karting companies throughout North America, PSL Karting is the importer for the CRG product line and runs one of the most successful and professional karting teams in the world. CRG West is extremely honored to be a part of the PSL program and has adopted the name PSL West.
CRG West owner Danny Kacic stated, ” When the opportunity to join the PSL Karting team was presented to me, I took some time to evaluate the proposal but it was not long before I realized it was a ‘no brainer’. Having access to PSL Karting’s knowledge, staff and product lines can only be a positive thing for the Western CRG clientele.”
PSL Karting owner, Dominic Labrecque, and CRG West owners, Danny and Amy Kacic, started doing business together almost three years ago. The more business they did together, the more they realized that this was the next logical step for both parties. Now, North American CRG drivers will have the opportunity to be a part of a global program that stretches across the United States, Canada and Europe. PSL Karting will now have a strong presence in all the major kart racing series around the world including several European karting championships, Florida Winter Tour, Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour, Rotax Challenge of the Americas and many more.
The first event for Team PSL West will be the upcoming SKUSA SummerNationals Pro Tour round in Modesto, California over the first weekend of August. Looking to make a visual splash at the event, PSL West will have to wait for the next major race in North America to debut their new trailer as a production delay has put them a few weeks behind.
Team PSL West will make the trek to California and be coming out in full force with some talented drivers that will look to secure race wins and podium results for the squad. The Team will have Great Britain’s Jordan Lennox-Lamb representing in S1, as well as Milan Dontje (Netherlands), Phillip Orcic (Canada), and the USA’s Troy Diede and Christian Schureman. In TaG Senior and TaG Cadet, Team PSL West will have Canadian standouts Jordan Redlin and Marco Kacic, respectively. Representing PSL West in the S2 class will be CJ Cramm, Cody Diede and Cole Perry, who all hail from the United States.
Team owner Danny Kacic is very excited to have PSL West’s debut event in Modesto, California. He continued, “The fire to the CRG West trailer in Texas definitely made for a stressful and difficult season so far but we are now only looking forwards and could not to be happier joining the PSL/CRG family. When the fire first happened, we stated that we would be back better and stronger, and the newly formed PSL West is exactly that.”
