The Ontario karting community will be heading to the challenging track at Flamboro Speedway on June 22nd and 23rd, for Round 2 of the 2013 Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship. The winners at Round 1 held at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton ON will be looking to add to their points lead, but there are many more competitors all with the goal of leading the championship by Sunday evening.
The gates will open Saturday morning at 7:30 am, with the official practice from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. The cost for practice is $40.00. All racers will have to vacate the pits by 2:30 pm. All classes will race on Sunday June 23rd with the gates open at 7:00 am, registration will be open at 7:30 am, and the drivers meeting is at 8:45 am.

Burlington Cycle has been open for business in Burlington Ontario since 1969 as a family owned business, with Mr. Neil Moore and his wife Bev working with their two sons Neil and Tom to provide sales, service and parts for Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha Products. Overnight camping will be allowed at the racetrack in the field on the main grandstand side of the property. It is important that all competitors note that those planning to camp must be packed up and moved out of the pit area by 2:30 pm. Trailers can be left in the pit area in a designated spot on Saturday evening, however there will be no security provided by the Series. If you plan on leaving your trailer, please have it parked in the designated area by 2:15 pm. (Note that there will be no camping in this area).
Saturday evening at Flamboro Speedway is “meet the drivers” night. They will have a full slate of races including Late Models, Thunder Cars, Mini Stocks, F4 Modifieds, and Pure Stocks. The Grandstand opens at 5 pm, qualifying starts at 6:30 pm and the main events are scheduled to start at 8:00 pm.
As the event is a BSRKC Championship race, all classes with ten or more entries will receive cash prizes. First place receives $175.00, second place receives $75.00, and third place receives $50.00. The cash prizes will be awarded the same day as the trophy presentations. As is always the case with all kart racing events held at Flamboro Speedway, the top five in each class will also receive trophies.
Since 2006 the BSRKC Series has awarded more than $160,000.00 in cash and prizes. The series truly holds the record for being the most affordable and cost conscious regional karting Series in Canada.
