This weekend, the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship travels south the Point Pelee Karting for race #3 of their championship series. Coming off a very successful event at Flamboro two weeks ago, the annual stop in Leamington is always a popular one among drivers and their families.
This weekends event is sponsored by CF Groups, DeAngelis Construction and Stewart Gilbert Ltd.
Utilizing the long track with the hairpin, the event will race the Suzuka Track configuration at Point Pelee Karting. Friday will be official controlled practice from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.
This weekends event will be the first BSRKC event to see two days of racing action. Saturday will have an array of unofficial BSRKC classes with Briggs & Stratton Junior, Briggs & Stratton Senior, TaG Senior/TaG Masters, TaG Junior and Briggs & Stratton Masters. Following the race day will be open practice until 8:00PM for Sunday’s classes.
There will also be authentic wood oven cooked pizza for all to enjoy, courtesy of Max DeAngelis & Cole Cacciavillani. Those coming to Leamington will not want to miss this on Saturday evening.
Sunday will see all official BSRKC classes on track with Novice, Junior Lite, Junior Heavy, Senior Lite Senior Heavy and Masters all scheduled to race.
As is customary for all BSRKC events, all classes with ten plus entries receive cash prizes. First place receives $175.00, Second Place receives $75.00, Third Place receives $50.00. Trophies are also presented to the Top-3 finishers in all classes.
For those needing accommodations, the Pelee Motor Inn, located beside the track is offering a group rate of $114.00 + Tax/night for BSRKC racers. Be sure to use the Group Code: Brian Stewart Racing Kart Racer for this rate. The hotel has a pool, waterpark, continental breaking and a games room.
PPK will also be providing a special trackside ‘Camper Zone’ for all RV’s and tents for both race weekends.
