KDM Racing Adds $1,000.00 to BSRKC Shannonville Bear Hunt Purse

The Principals and Organizers of the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series, together with the Simcoe and the Waterloo Regional kart clubs, announced today that Kelly Michaud from KDM Racing is adding $1,000.00 to the cash prizes awarded at the annual Bear Hunt races that take place at Shannonville Motorsport Park from July 31 to Aug. 4, 2013.

The $1,000.00 will be awarded by a draw from the names of the racers in the Briggs and Stratton Junior, Senior, and Masters classes that are registered to race on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  In order to qualify for this generous prize, the winner must take the green flag.  The draw will take place on Sunday, and the cash will be handed over to the lucky winner at the end of the day during trophy presentations.

As always, each of the official BSRKC classes with 10 entries receive $175.00 for first place, $75.00 for second place, and $50.00 for third place.   With this event being a double-header weekend, it’s guaranteed that some karters will go home with one or two Bears, and some serious cash!
