In the Rotax Junior category, Parker Thompson (SH Karting/Tony Kart) managed to take pole position with a time of 36.96 seconds followed closely by Olivier Bédard (SRA Karting/Birel) with a time of 36.99 seconds. Third place was Brazilian Gustavo Bandiera (PSL Karting/CRG).
When displaying the official time, we noticed some punishments were given to drivers during the qualifying session. Notably, Zachary Claman Demelo (ZCD Autosports/PSL/CRG], 2011 ECKC Rotax Junior Champion, who lost his two best times for not respecting the flag of a mechanical problem, and have stopped along the track placing him 24th.
