A couple tech notes have been declared ahead of this weekends Eastern Canadian Karting Championship round at Goodwood Kartways.
Fuel Source
ESSO Station located in Stouffville, on the south/west corner of Bloomington Rd (#47) and Markham Rd (#48). All classes must use ESSO Supreme fuel (91 Octane).
Competitors are advised to flush the pump delivery hose out with the correct grade of fuel at the spec pump before filling race fuel cans.
ROTAX Micro Max Exhaust
Prior to the start of qualifications at 10:45 am on Saturday all Micro Max entries must present there disassembled exhaust pipes along with new packing to the tech area for inspection. After inspection the pipes will be assembled and sealed. The seal and kart number will be recorded and the exhaust pipe must be used and remain sealed for the entire event schedule.
Competition Numbers and Number Panels
All numbers and number panels must conform with ASN Canadian Karting Regulations, Book 2 Technical Regulations, regulation 8.26.
All competitors must use solid black numbers on a bright yellow background.
Entering and Exiting The Track
As per ASN Canadian Karting Regulations, Book 1 Sporting Regulations, regulation 14.1.b) a driver must not cross over and must stay within the limits of the pit exit blend line with all four wheels.
As per ASN Canadian Karting Regulations, Book 1 Sporting Regulations, regulation 14.1.p) a driver must not cross over and must stay within the limits of the track exit line with all four wheels.
The fine for violations at Goodwood is increased to $20.00.
