CTMP Karting Centre Announces Supplementary Track Rules for ECKC Weekend

We received a document this morning from the track officials at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park Karting Centre with their supplementary track rules for this weekend. All of those in attendance at this weekends Eastern Canadian Karting Championship event must abide by the following rules:


KARTING CENTRE PARKING

Gate attendants will direct all personal and transport vehicles to a designated area. No personal or transport vehicles permitted in the paddock area. Non-compliance may result in the removal of vehicle.

PADDOCK SPACE and NOISE ABATEMENT

Quiet paddock rule in effect at all times. Kart engines not to be started at any time. General Noise Curfew enforced at 11:00 PM.

No participant motorized vehicles, bicycles, scooters or skateboards are allowed at any time in the paddocks or on the race track. Official Karting Centre vehicles are excepted.

WASTE CONTROL DISPOSAL

General waste to be placed in containers provided.

Used tires to be placed at the roadway for pick and disposal at the end of each day.

All liquids to be disposed of at the designated location in the fenced area beside the steel container.

RESTRICTED ACESS AREAS:

GRID AREA –ENTRY TO TRACK

The Grid Area is not a spectator area. Only participants with Karting Centre issued wrist bands are allowed in the grid area. Failure to comply may result in penalties.

RACE CONTROL –TIMING & SCORING

Trackside front deck and timing area at the in the main building is not a spectator area and may be accessed only by race officials. Failure to comply may result in penalties.

SCALE AND TECHNICAL AREAS

May be accessed only by race officials and participants with wristbands for their track session only. Failure to comply may result in penalties.

BEHAVIOURS

The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Karting Centre may cause to be removed from the facility, any person(s) who use unacceptable physical behavior, bullying and/or offensive language.

PERSONAL FACILITIES

CTMP personal shower area is accessible, (located on road course across from the Karting Centre). A wristband is required and must be presented on request from facility officials.

UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE – UAV

The use of any“remote control” aircraft (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle – UAV) is prohibited.
