The 2017 Coupe de Montréal and Série Tour Québec Championships will crown their champions on October 1 at the Académie de Karting Jim Russell in Mont-Tremblant. At the first joint event earlier this summer, over one hundred drivers registered. With drivers from Maritimes and Ontario, the organizers expect even more karters this time.
For this last round, the officials will have the help of the video marshaling system.
To close this 2017 racing season, drivers and families are invited for dinner on Saturday night at Le Smokehouse restaurant. The dinner is courtesy of La Maison du Rôti. The Busted Credit band will rock the place as well!
“It is important for us that families are part of our events and this type of activity gives an opportunity to socialize in a festive evening. This is one of the reasons why we selected Mont-Tremblant for this last race with its autumn colours. We expect to have a huge participation in the Shifter and Shifter Masters classes because this track offers to drivers a rare opportunity to use all the power of their engine. We will also use our video marshaling system, even if it is expensive to operate because we think that Championships must be decided on the right decisions,” said Michel Boisclair, president of SRA Karting.
