Compass Management Solutions Formed and Ready to Assist the Karting Industry and More

“Travel and Virtual Assistant needs to be taken care of by CMS”

A new partnership is emerging between two of the biggest and up and coming names in karting. Mike Maurini, owner of Koene USA, Race Tech Development, and RTD Media and Management, and Mike Rolison, owner of Rolison Performance Group and series promoter of the Can-Am Karting Challenge, have come together to form Compass Management Solutions (CMS).

The primary goal of CMS is to assist the karting industry with travel accommodations. CMS will have discounted hotel room blocks at most major karting events, starting with the Florida Winter Tour in 2017. Teams and drivers can contact CMS directly with their travel needs, and they will take care of the booking, eliminating the hassle so you can focus on more important things, like racing. In addition to travel accommodations, CMS can also be contracted for other personal or business needs, both inside and outside of karting.

“Mike and I felt that there was a major void in the market and since we both needed help in these areas, we set out to find a solution to fill our needs,” explained Rolison. “We have hired personnel to help in all of these areas and more.”

“Mike and I approached one another both complaining that we needed help to continue the growth of our businesses. He had his ideas and I had mine,” added Maurini. “We put all the aspects that we were looking for together and determined that the best way to move forward was to form a company and try to build it into a successful business. We will both continue to operate our own businesses independently but work together to make Compass Management Solutions a success.”

Compass Management Solutions has hired on Paige Wallin, who will also be a major help to Rolison Performance Group, Koene USA, the Can-Am Karting Challenge, and Race Tech Development, as these four companies continue to grow.

Wallin added, “I have been assisting Mike Rolison for a while now with his series and race team and met Mike Maurini at a recent event in Sonoma. Both owners are extremely motivated and committed to their sport, making it an easy decision when they asked me to help. I have the organization skills that will help both as well as specific schooling that will allow me to grow and hopefully excel in their future business plans.”

In the short time since the partnership has emerged, CMS has already contracted three karting teams and one series to assist them with all aspects of their businesses, focusing on travel and virtual assistant work for teams and individuals.
