After stepping up to the plate to support several US Rotax programs in 2014 Cold Stone Creamery will continue their support of more MAXSpeed promoted programs in 2015. Putting their name on the Florida Winter Tour as the title sponsor, the 2015 edition of the winter program will be dubbed the ‘Cold Stone Florida Winter Tour powered by MAXSpeed Entertainment.’
“Cold Stone has been nothing but exceptional in their support of Rotax and MAXSpeed promoted events,” explained Garett Potter. “With their support, we have been able to put on what we feel has been the best US Grand Nationals and Pan American Challenge events ever. Now with their support of the entire Florida Winter Tour, we are looking to continue this trend into 2015 and beyond.”
“I love the sport of karting as it is truly racing in its purest form,” explained Andy DeFrancesco, a partner in Cold Stone Creamery. “I would love for the world to see it, grasp it and understand it as we the parents, mechanics, team, track owners and most importantly the drivers do. It needs exposure beyond the walls of the karting industry itself and I try to do whatever I can to help promote it.”
With Cold Stone putting their name and brand behind the Florida Winter Tour, MG Tires has done the same and will step up to support the ROK Cup USA weekends of the program.
Potter continued, “MAXSpeed Entertainment is proud to announce that MG Tires will be the official tire for the FWT ROK Cup USA program, and we are looking forward to working with MG for the 2015 ROK Cup USA weekend. How do we build a great karting program? First you have to have great partners. Wagner (Rossi) and Luis (Ruibal) from MG Tires, have proven that they are here to stay and have also given a great product and support to the racers for many years. It was very important to us as we look forward to a whole new dimension of karting in Florida, that we have people involved who understand what karting needs, and MG gets it.”
“For us, it is great to continue supporting the Florida Winter Tour and now is even much more exciting for us to be part of the MAXSpeed Entertainment program,” explained Wagner Rossi, President and founder of WR Motorsports and MG Tires North America. “They always put a great show together and are very well organized. In the end the whole industry and most importantly the drivers will be compensated for that incredible acquisition of the Florida Winter Tour. MG Tires look forward for a long term relationship and I have a feeling the FWT will be as great as it always was in the past 15 years and also with a bright new future.”
MG Tires North America General Manager Luis Ruibal added, “We are very happy to continue our relationship with the Florida Winter Tour. We enjoyed great seasons with Bill Wright and we are sure that won’t be any different now with MAXSpeed Entertainment. We are ready for many good years to come.”
MG Tires and WR Motorsports will host an ‘Industry Social Hour’ each and every ROK event weekend that will include a BBQ for all teams and competitors. Giving back to the customers that support their product and the series for so long, MG Tires is proud to be part of the 2015 Cold Stone Florida Winter Tour powered by MAXSpeed Entertainment.
