Club News: WRKC Race #11 Report

As the racing season winds down with only two points races remaining the action was still extremely well attended by both racers and spectators with all groups just as competitive as Race #1. Masters had one of their most competitive races of the season with Brian Wilkinson holding off hard charging Dave Mordue for the win.

Our Novice class had a field of 17 karts and what a show they had put on all day including the heat races but in the final it was Ethan Donkers taking the win followed by William Adams.

At the end of this action packed day the WRKC celebrated with their yearly Corn Roast for all the racers and their families as well as the hard working people in the back ground that make this club so unique. The WRKC next race is Saturday Sept 17 so come on out and stay the night and watch some exciting Stock car action to end a great day of racing.

The club is very pleased to have the support of Northside Trophies & Awards as this week’s race day sponsor. They have been a long-time supporter of our club and many of their trophies are proudly displayed by our race winners and year end champions. Considering we hand out approximately 750 trophies a year they are a vital part of every award celebration we stage throughout the year. This family owned business is located in St. Jacobs Ontario.
