“Through the month of November, CKN will travel to Valencia, Spain to cover Team Canada at the ‘Olympics of Karting’!”
For the third year in a row, CanadianKartingNews.com will position themselves trackside as part of the ‘Olympics of Karting’ at the 2014 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, displaying a presence and keeping to their roots to cover Canadian karters competing at the highest levels of the sport. This years Rotax Grand Finals, one of the most prestigious annual karting races around the world, will be held in Valencia, Spain from November 24 to 29 and CKN has prepared an unprecedented 25 days of daily event coverage.
Hoping to add to the six Rotax Grand Finals titles and one Nations Cup title Canada currently owns, 13 Canadian drivers will take part in the event that draws 288 drivers from over 50 countries around the world and CKN will be there to cover it all.
“I’m very proud of what we have planned for this years coverage of the Rotax Grand Finals,” explains Cody Schindel of CanadianKartingNews.com. “We are going all-out in the month of November as we recognize this is the most popular karting event outside of Canada for Canadians every year.”
This years 13-member team is one of the strongest Canada has sent to the Rotax Grand Finals, however one of the smallest in the past five years. Beginning November 6, CKN will kick off their coverage with a daily article on each Canadian driver competing at this year’s Rotax Grand Finals, introducing each member and highlighting their journey to qualify for the Rotax Grand Finals. The previews begin with the 2014 Canadian Champions, followed by the Western and Eastern Canadian Qualifiers and are closed out by those who earned their invitations through International competition.
In the week leading up to the event CKN will break down the event highlights, including this years chassis brands for each division, an overall view of the track, history of Team Canada successes at the Rotax Grand Finals, in-depth analysis of the event itself, as well as a global preview of drivers competing at the event. Once trackside at the Grand Finals CKN will provide photo galleries, video interviews and daily reports on everything that is happening in Valencia, Spain. On top of editorial content, special contributions from 3-time Rotax Grand Finals Champion Ben Cooper and 2011 Rotax DD2 Masters Grand Finals Champion Scott Campbell are sure to catch the attention of the CKN readership.
“We will be working even closer with the drivers than in years past, including one driver who will be blogging their everyday experiences daily on CKN throughout the Grand Finals,” continues Schindel. “In the multimedia department, video interviews are in the works and photo galleries from Spain will be posted almost daily as well. We even have a technical aspect in the works to help ensure complete coverage of the event. Overall I’m very excited for everything that is Team Canada and Rotax Grand Finals related!”
