Canadian Karting News Announces Brand Ambassador Search

The crew at Canadian Karting News is thrilled to announce its latest program for the karting community: a partnership with a driver that will see one named ‘CKN Brand Ambassador’ for the 2014 season! The partnership provides an amazing opportunity for a karter to race at some of the biggest and best events the country has to offer, and support from CKN, Coldstone Creamery and others is already in place to make it all happen.

“I am so excited to finally release this news to the karting community,” said CKN lead man Cody Schindel. “This is a program I’ve been working hard to put together for some time, and with support from Coldstone Creamery we are now set to make it a reality. With the expenses of the sport seeming to climb higher every season, many drivers are having to prioritize the best Canadian events and we’re looking to change that for our CKN Brand Ambassador with both financial and media support in the year ahead.”

Fine details of the program show a prize package already worth over $4000! Among other things, the CKN Brand Ambassador will be awarded entry to the 2014 ASN Canadian National Karting Championships, entry to all six races of the 2014 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship, a customized CKN branded race suit produced by Freem and a custom CKN/Coldstone Creamery decal kit. Schindel and the team at CKN will provide media support for the driver throughout the year, one who will have each of their events offered up in detail through a CKN Driver Blog.

The opportunity is open to drivers from any Canadian National class. Applicants are required to submit a driver resume/history and produce a short essay on how they can positively promote both CKN and Coldstone Creamery during the 2014 karting season. An online submission form will be available early in the new year.

The CKN Brand Ambassador must be prepared to contest both the full 2014 ECKC schedule and the Canadian National Karting Championships while professionally promoting CKN and Coldstone Creamery. The Eastern Canadian Karting Championship is the premier karting series in Canada, featuring drivers from across the country during events in both Ontario and Quebec. The 2014 ASN Canadian National Karting Championships return to Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, this summer, and the event is annually the highlight of the Canadian karting season.

“Ultimately we are looking for a driver who will professionally promote our brand on and off track,” continued Schindel. “The kind of driver who shows up to the track prepared for every race, has a clean and professional image, demonstrates the ultimate level of sportsmanship and strives to improve at each and every meeting.
