“Richert Racing Develops Grassroots Go-Kart Program for Canadian Karting Community”

For 2015, Richert Racing has developed the Richert Racing Driver Search to help give Canadian kart racers an opportunity to make the difficult transition from kart racing into formula cars, not only from a driving standpoint, but also from the all important business standpoint.

The unique angle is that the Richert Racing Driver Search is not looking for the fastest go-kart racer, rather, the kart racer who can do the best job of promoting themselves will be the one rewarded with a trip to Europe to do a test session with a professional race team in the current Renault 2.0 race car.

Each driver will be required to track their media attention throughout the year and provided the driver’s name, along with the name of one of the program’s corporate partners are mentioned, the driver will receive credit. Both Princess Auto and Silver Jeans Co. are already proud supporters of the Richert Racing Driver Search with several other corporate partners to be announced shortly.

Television, Radio, Print, Online, Public Appearances and Social Media are all acceptable forms of media placement. Interested racers can apply for the program through the Richert Racing Driver Search website ( www.richertracingdriversearch.com ).

In 2002, David Richert began his racing career by competing in a 5.5 Honda powered go-kart in the Manitoba Karting Association. After 13 years of hard work, Richert is now competing as a professional driver in Europe.

It was in 2008 and 2009 while racing with Volkswagen, that David Richert was crowned the Jetta TDI Cup Media Champion in both seasons by generating more than two times the amount of publicity when compared with any other driver in the championship. Achieving this feat was instrumental in allowing him to continue pursuing his racing career.
