Utilizing the track time he had yesterday in the Jr. Medium race, Austin Bisschop (Birel) was in complete control of todays Jr. Lite class. Bisschop stormed to the pole-position in the Green-White-Checkered format qualifying session by nearly half a second, drove away with the pre final heat, then drove away in the final, winning by 8.514 seconds.
Behind, a great battle erupted between Jordan Howse (FirstKart), Cole Smith-Ledson (Birel) and Roman DeAngelis (Birel). The three raced clean all the way to the finish line, trading the second position many times as the 20-lap final wound down. At the finish, DeAngelis earned the second step on the podium with Smith-Ledson taking third.
