The 2014 Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series starts this weekend on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton.
The official classes contesting for the Stewart Cups are:
Novice;
Junior Lite;
Junior Heavy;
Senior Medium;
Honda Masters;
Briggs Junior; and
Briggs Senior.
The event kicks off with controlled practice on Saturday; with the above classes racing on Sunday. Trophies are awarded from 1st to 3rd. Cash prizes in the amounts of $175.00, $75.00, and $50.00, are awarded to these classes with 10 or more entries.
The Sutton track is open all week for practice. Please visit the BSRKC web site for all information related to the practice and race day entry fees, practice and race day schedules, and for information pertaining to the accommodations.
This event is generously sponsored by the Simcoe Kart Club. Please note that the SKC and 3-S 1 Fee Deal special practice and race day offers are not applicable for this event.
Racers competing in the BSRKC Series must register their numbers in order to race in this Series. The fee is $5.00 per class. BSRKC Championship Points will only be awarded to the racers that have registered their numbers.
Upcoming BSRKC Race Dates – Hosting Clubs and Venues
The BSRKC series has assembled a challenging sequence of venues for 2014.After the opening round at Sutton, the BSRKC series makes its first-ever visit to Goodwood Kartways in Stouffville, Ontario on June 21-22. The series then heads to Leamington for Round 3 at Point Pelee Karting. Finally, the season wraps up with a double-header in the form of the BEAR HUNT races at Shannonville Motorsport Park.
