We all know racers like to get something back after a long weekend of racing and that is exactly what is happening this weekend at the Champion Ron Fellows Karting Challenge SummerFest presented by Pfaff Motorsports at Mosport Kartways in Clarington, Ontario.
Putting a unique twist on the event, we will see the regular Rotax and Briggs CRFKC categories race on Saturday, where events have neared 200 drivers this season already, followed by the Briggs & Stratton one-day special on Sunday. For the large classes that will exceed that maximum allowable number of drivers racing in the Final, a consolation final will help determine the final starting spots for the main event. It’s going to be a good old fashioned race day that will surely fill the fences as drafting and large pack racing will surely excite everyone.
Event organizers are expecting a large influx of drivers for exclusive Sunday’s Briggs & Stratton race and for those categories that exceed 30 entries, $1000.00 cash will awarded to the race winner, while second and third places will have to settle for a snazzy Briggs Generator or Briggs Pressure Washer. Those classes with 20-30 drivers will race for $500.00 cash plus the generator and pressure washer.
Add in driver of the day awards ($250.00 cash), unique trophies and only $125.00 to register and there is no reason not to race this weekend at Mosport.

Who will steal the show? A MIKA regular, an out our of towner or a mysterious wash-up dusting off the gear at the chance to win some cold, hard cash? Only time will tell…
