PR: Ottawa-Gatineau Karting Championship – 3rd Annual Capital Cup Double-header!

After very successful events in 2011 & 2012, Le Circuit Quyon Karting Club (LCQKC) and the National Capital Kart Club (NCKC) are pleased to present the 3rd Annual Capital Cup Kart Championship scheduled for Canada Day weekend – June 29th and June 30th, 2013! The Capital Cup Double-header will once again be hosted by Le Circuit Quyon, the National Capital Region’s finest outdoor karting facility. The two-day event will pit racers from both clubs against each other to determine who is the ultimate Capital Cup champion! This year, the Race Director will be none other than Mr. Terry Dale, a Race Director/International Steward with the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) and former President of the Motorsport Club of Ottawa (MCO).

At the end of the first race day, there will be both food and entertainment available for racing fans, racing families, and racers camping overnight, as well as concession kart rentals for those of you that can’t get enough racing! Saturday night’s dinner will catered by Fettuccine’s Fine Cuisine of Ottawa, served by Mr. Lucho Yabar. Following dinner, the evening will end off with a fireworks display!

For the second day of racing, a different track configuration will be used – adding to the excitement of the race weekend!
