PR: Momentum Continues to Build as TRAK Announces New Title Sponsor

13-06-13-TRAKBy: Toronto Raicng Association of Karters

Lakeshore Communications, Motorola Radio Solutions and the Toronto Racing Association of Karters (TRAK) are proud to release details of a new partnership announcing the 2-way radio company as Title Sponsor for the 2013 Toronto Racing Association of Karters Championship.

With the season now in full swing, and TRAK enjoying one of their best starts to the season in over three years, TRAK President Daniel Di Leo is quick to point out that this new development fits in perfectly as the momentum continues to build. “I think it’s fair to say that most would look to the Canadian National Karting Championships hosted by Goodwood Kartways in late August as the highlight of this year’s calendar,” stated Di Leo. “Combining that with a great start to our TRAK Championship, huge numbers at the opening round of the ECKC Series and of course this new announcement which brings further credibility to our programs, it’s easy to understand our high expectations as we continue to work diligently into the summer months.”

The momentum he speaks of continues this coming weekend as TRAK Race 5 followed by TRAK Race 6 take place on back to back Saturday’s in anticipation of what is expected to be the biggest ECKC event in the history of the series. Considering the strategic scheduling and listening to the chatter in the pits, TRAK Officials are preparing for huge fields that are expected to get bigger and bigger as the weeks go by. “This Saturday will begin the preparation process for many of the country’s top drivers. Next Saturday we welcome all TRAK/MIKA members to our inter club event and of course the following weekend we host Round 2 of the Eastern Canadian Karting Championships,” explained Di Leo. “Each event leads into the next and with the building blocks being put in place the Canadian Karting Championships in late August is shaping up to be a remarkable event.”

Speaking of the Canadian Karting Championship, TRAK is pleased to announce that participation in selected TRAK events will act as automatic qualifiers for the big event. Maintaining the integrity of the Rotax Max Challenge, TRAK Officials worked hand in hand with Rotax Max Challenge representatives to develop this opportunity which now gives aspiring local Karters the opportunity to qualify and participate in Canada’s biggest event. Looking at the TRAK calendar, participation in any three of the next five club races prior to the Canadian Nationals will grant eligibility to drivers looking to be part of the big show.

The TRAK Championship Presented by Lakeshore Communications and Motorola Radio Solutions features a 14 race schedule at local race venue Goodwood Kartways. For more information and/or details on how to become part of our program, please visit www.TRAK.ca.
