Update Tracker: 2019 Trofeo D’Autunno – Italy

And that wraps up the Trofeo D'Autunno here at South Garda Karting. It was a great opportunity for our drivers in attendance to learn the track and get a feel for what the racing is like here in Italy.

Rok Senior A Final

Hornbostel found himself right in the thick of the action, but unfortunately pushed his nose in early. He still battled and crossed the finish line 20th, but that will change.

Starting dead last in the race, Harris could only go forward and he did just that. He moved up eight spots from where he started, and was in an intense battle in the late stages of the race.

Kudos to American Emma Delattre, who advanced twelve spots in the race to finish fifteenth.

At the line, Joe finishes 12th and it appears he may be second of the Expert drivers. Nice!

Boom, another spot for Joe. Now 14th.

He's running fifteenth, up two spots from where he started.

Rok Senior B Final on track, Joe Crupi continues to work on his race pace as an Expert among Seniors.

Maciel moves forward in the Rok Junior B Final, advancing up eight spots to finish 14th. He was knocking on the door of the top-ten until the final lap where he slipped back. His best session so far.

The Junior points are now complete. Dale Curran ends up P2 in group 2, so he will start third or fourth in the A Final. Andrew Maciel is 29th in group 2, so he will race the B Final.

Earlier we noted that Gianluca Savaglio was 16th in group 1, meaning he will start 32nd in the A Final.

From bad to worse for Hornbostel as he drops three more places on the final lap, crossing in twelfth. Harris picked up a couple and finishes 16th. Crupi is running at a big disadvantage this weekend as the Expert weight is 10kg higher than the Seniors. He finishes the session 25th.

Damn, Hornbostel dropped two spots that lap, he's back to ninth. Final lap.

Harris also had a great start, jumping up five spots. He currently runs 18th.

Final heat race of the day taking to the track. Rok Senior is the only group to get three heat races, so for our Canadians, it's a little extra track time.

Just got an update on Rok Junior. Gianluca Savaglio will run in the A Final as he ranks 16th in Series 1. Maciel and Curran still have a heat race to run.
