The 4 stroke racing community will be heading to the challenging track at Flamboro Speedway on September 8th, and 9th. This is when the last checkered flag is waived and the 2012 Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series champions will be crowned.
With 4 of the 5 races completed the Brian Stewart Series competitors converge on Flamboro Speedway for what will be the best attended karting event of the 2012 season. The gates will open Saturday morning at 6:30 am, with the official practice from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The cost for practice is $50.00. All racers will have to vacate the pits by 2:30 pm. On Sunday the Novice, Junior Lite, Junior Heavy, Senior Lite, Senior Heavy, and Masters classes will run their final races of the year, with the WRKC Cadet class added to this schedule. A quick look through the point standings will confirm that there are a number of competitors in each class that can still improve on their final point standing for the season. This will surely make the racing very exciting.
It is important that all competitors note that overnight camping will be allowed at the racetrack in the field on the main grandstand side of the property. For those planning to camp they will have to be packed up and moved out of the pit area by 2:30 pm. Trailers can be left in the pit area in a designated spot on Saturday evening however, there will be no security provided by the Series. If you plan on leaving your trailer please have it parked in the designated area by 2:15 pm. (Note there will be no camping in this area). Information regarding accommodations is posted on the BSRKC website.
