Club News: Close racing excitement at Lombardy Karting
The action at the Lombardy Karting Association Eastern Ontario track heated up in this season’s Round #7 as drivers battled for race trophies and total championship points.
The early rain stopped and a drying track provide close, fast-paced competition through two morning qualifying races and afternoon features.
Winners in Round 7:
Jake Lalonde, Novice Light Class (age 7-11);
Denver Craig, Novice Class (age 8-12);
Hector Baker, Junior Class (age 10-15);
Andy Oakley, Senior Class (age 15+)
Mike Oakley, Spec Racer Class (age 15+)
