After four years of trying, American Fritz Leesman (PSL Atlantic/CRG) has finally earned the crown at Le Monaco de Trois Rivieres in the Formula Kart/KZ2 Shifter category. Leesman simply drove away from the field to lead from start to finish.
Darren White (SH Ontario/TonyKart) rebounded after starting the final from the rear to finish second after the crowd on hand watching him battle Dominic Legrand (CRG). Legrand finish third ahead of Paul Hunter (Maranello) and Michel Legrand (CRG).
