Program Will Award Formula 1600 Test To Three Worthy Recipients From The Regional Karting Community In Ontario
REMINDER – The CASC (Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs) Ontario Region Karts to Cars Driver Development registration is open and interested karters should register now.
The 2014 edition was won by Taegen Poles, Dan Bender and Chase Hanchar. All had an incredible experience behind the wheel and this year 3 more will be selected.
The program is open to residents of Ontario, 15 and older, racing karts at the club level. It is not a program based on race wins and championships but more targeted towards the grassroots racer with a passion for the sport and a huge desire to race cars, for fun.
The winners will be judged by a selection committee and awarded an F1600 experience this fall with two of the Toyo Tires F1600 Championships top teams.
Registration is done through the Toyo Tires F1600 series Facebook site, give it a “Like” and click through the Karts to Cars app or directly from the formula1600.com website.
Entrants will be required to submit a photo and some personal information including which Club and Class raced for and how to be contacted. The registration closes midnight, October 31.
