Positive First Day at ASN Canadian National Karting Championships
It may only have been a practice day on Wednesday, but the first day of the 2015 ASN Canadian National Karting Championships at Mosport Kartways near Bowmanville, Ontario was full of electricity. There was a certain vibe running through the paddock that has been been absent over most of this year, a vibe full of positivity and excitement as everyone in attendance was fired up for the biggest event of the Canadian season.
Registrations continued to roll in throughout the day with the number of entries inching closer to 200, eclipsing the number of drivers from a year ago. The addition of the Open Shifter category has been a big discussion throughout the paddock, as has the number of drivers and the quality of drivers entered in the Briggs & Stratton LO206 Senior class, which could very well reach 45 or more karts this weekend.
