BRP Announces Chassis Partners for 2014 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals

By: BRP Rotax.

BRP announces its four chassis partners for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) 2014 in Valencia, Spain.

“All our partners of this year’s Grand Finals are very well known in the karting industry and all of them have already been partners in previous events. We are pleased to have them on board again,” said Helmut Voglsam, supervisor, Rotax Kart Engines.

This year’s chassis partners are Sodikart, BRP’s partner running for many years, supporting the Rotax 125 Junior Max category, Birel, supporting the Rotax 125 MAX class, Praga who is back on the track at the Grand Finals with its chassis for the Rotax 125 MAX DD2 Masters class and CRG, supporting the event in the Rotax 125 MAX DD2 category.

“Like every year the number of chassis manufacturers offering their support as chassis cooperation partner is growing but we had to pin ourselves down to four chassis brands only. We would like to thank all of them for their interest in becoming part of the Grand Finals,” stated Voglsam.

“The partnership between CRG and Rotax is well established thanks to many years of cooperation, this is the reason why we have decided to be the Grand Finals partner also in 2014,” said Giancarlo Tinini, President, CRG Spa.

“IPKarting with its brand Praga is glad to be again partner for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals and to provide the best product with the latest technical development,” stated Daniel Sliva, Chairman of the Board, IPKarting.

“For more than 20 years, we have been working with Rotax as a real partner, on a long-term basis. In November 2014, for the 5th consecutive year, Sodikart will be proud to participate in the most exciting karting event in the world, the Grand Finals. For this 15th Grand Finals anniversary in Spain, Sodikart will be the official supplier of the Junior Class. All the Sodikart team will make everything possible to satisfy all the drivers with our fantastic Sodi Sigma. “Rendez-vous” in Spain for this fantastic event,” mentioned Bertrand Pignolet, CEO Sodikart.

“Birel supported the RMCGF in 2012 and 2011 already and we are coming back to the Grand Finals with our chassis for the Rotax 125 MAX class,” said Ronni Sala, President, Birel s.p.a.

The 15th Anniversary of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals, from November 25 to 29, 2014 will be celebrated in Valencia, Spain. Racing in four categories 288 participants from close to 60 countries will gather at the kart track Kartodromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero to race for the RMCGF titles.

During last year’s Grand Finals in New Orleans, USA, BRP held a contest where participants raced to adjust a balance drive. The 20-year-old winner Matas Kiznis from Lithuania visited Valcourt, Canada, from May 7-9 and discovered BRP and its history first-hand. He enjoyed his trip to Canada and was impressed by exploring BRP’s DNA.
