PR: At the Waterloo Regional Kart Club the Excitement Continues

When the Waterloo Regional Kart Club (WRKC)gathered at Flamboro Speedway for their 5^th race of the season on Saturday June 16^th  season the racers were looking forward to more great racing and our annual club picnic.  The veterans are working hard to establish their claim on the season point’s championship, and the rookies are starting to working on getting faster and learning to race now that they have learned the routine and honed their driving skills.  To mix things up for the first time in the 2012 season the club ran our standard track configuration backwards which added a little extra challenge for the racers.

The weather was perfect for the picnic, the barbecued chicken was a big hit.  Not only was the food good but the racers couldn’t wait for the prize draw to start.  The club wants to thank the many club members that pitched in and helped to make this happen, it is no small feat to provide a meal for close to 300 people, and all this after having raced all morning.

Our race day sponsor was Ontario Fire Truck, they have become the industry standard for complete fire apparatus solutions, whether it is testing, or repairs, their fleet of fully stocked mobile service trucks offer 7 day a week 24 hour a day service.  With over 30 years experience they have built their reputation through recommendations from their existing customers who tell their neighbouring fire departments about the excellent service they received.  The club was very thankful for their sponsorship.
