PR: TonyKarts Continue to Dominate North of the the Border

logo-pserraAs Canada’s Tony Kart / OTK importer, Pserra Racing is pleased with the brand’s results throughout the 2013 season. As one of the strongest brands in the United States, scoring race wins and championships in some of the country’s top series, Tony Kart has also been a force in the Canadian karting community. Proving their prowess at the Eastern Canadian Karting Championships (ECKC), Western Canadian Championships (WCC) and the ASN Canada FIA Canadian Karting Championships, Tony Kart has led the way.

“After taking over the Tony Kart brand, we continued to grow and improve upon the already established dealerships that can be found across the country,” expressed Peter Serravalle of Pserra Racing. “With great partnerships, a quality product and very talented drivers, we have brought the Tony Kart brand to a new level in Canada and will continue to do so for the years to come.”

Looking to sweep the Canada’s Rotax Junior championships, Tony Kart drivers claimed titles in WCC competition and stood first and third on the podium at the most recent Canadian Karting Championships event. With a stranglehold on the top three in points in the ECKC program, it looks as if Tony Kart will top that class and series of competition as well.

Not only has Tony Kart been the chassis of choice in the Junior ranks, OTK continues to be a threat in almost every racing division. Having great success in Micro Max, Mini Max and Rotax Senior, Tony Kart drivers have continued to excel in 2013.

Pserra Racing’s Rich Hibbs added, “We have sold plenty of chassis and OTK components throughout 2013 and have new customers coming to the shop every week. With the domination of the brand throughout North America, it truly is the best chassis to be on.”

New to the Canadian karting market in 2013 was the Tony Kart STV2 chassis. Designed for the lower horsepower classes, the STV2 chassis has proven to be great in four-stroke and Mini Max competition. The STV2 has also been run in the Rotax Junior ranks with success. Designed around a 30mm frame, the STV2 model features Tony Kart’s 17mm front spindles, 40mm axle, MXP wheels, fiberglass seat and multi positional eccentric washers. With adjustable ackerman as well as front and rear ride height, the STV2 is user friendly and is sure to continue Tony Kart’s great winning pedigree.

Not only focusing on the chassis, Pserra Racing’s engine program continues to turn heads. Dubbed ‘Pserra Engines’, the new program has already been victorious in Canada’s biggest event with young Rotax Mini Max driver Antonio Serravalle. Claiming the Canadian title, Antonio will now travel to the Rotax Mini & Micro Invitational at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals later this year under the Pserra Racing and Pserra Engines banner.

Pserra Racing is also pleased to announce that they will be attending the Rotax PanAmerican Championships in New Orleans, Louisiana October 8-13. This is the final opportunity to qualify drivers for the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in November. Pserra Racing and Pserra Engines will also be attending the annual SuperKart! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals in Las Vegas, Nevada November 20-24 with a strong driver line-up already confirmed. If anyone is interested in attending either of these events, please contact Rich Hibbs at Rich@PserraRacing.com or call the shop at 416.989.0351.
