PR: SKR & TKC Race #1 Set for Sunday April 27

SKC-logoThe Simcoe and Toronto kart clubs are contesting their joint Race #1 this Sunday, April 27, at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton. The event is generously sponsored by returning sponsor Kal Tire True Service.

The classes on tap in the hunt for their respective 2014 Championships are the Novice, Junior Lite, Junior Heavy, Honda Senior, Masters, as well as SKC’s newly added Briggs Junior and Briggs Senior classes

The races will be contested on the Villeneuve trace in the counter clockwise direction. The track is open for practice all week and camping is always free. Pre-Registration is available on Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm, with Registration open on Sunday morning at 7:45 am.

Please note the following two items that were decided at the SKC Fall General Meeting:

1) Racing with MG tires is permitted at the first race. This allows the clubs’ respective members to use up their MG tires.

Racing on Vega Blue Ontario tires will commence at Race

#2.
2) Sunday’s on track activities will start at 9:30 am, as opposed to 9:00 am.

For SKC members that purchased the 1 Fee Deal which includes the club’s membership and the registration fees for 10 races, plus the annual 3-S Go Karts track membership with unlimited practice, this is the first of the ten races in this package that waives these fees. (This special offer is not applicable for BSRKC events).

The Simcoe and Toronto kart clubs invite all ASN Canada affiliated karters to come and race with them on Sunday, April 27, at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton.

See you there.
