PR: Innisfil Kart Club/Canadian Karting Challenge General Meeting Sets Tone for 2015 Racing Season

With the 2015 racing season fast approaching, Innisfil Kart Club (IKC) members and Canadian Karting Challenge (CKC) drivers gathered Saturday, January 10 for the annual General Meeting held at Grange Hall in Innisfil, Ontario. Discussing items for the upcoming season, everyone is exciting to get to racing in 2015!

“We’d like to thank everyone that came out to give feedback during the meeting,” explained Innisfil Karting’s Tony Launi. “We always try to make our club and series welcoming and friendly to all who attend, so being able to hear from our racers helps make the experience better for everyone!”

Highlighting information from this year’s General Meeting, Canadian Karting Challenge registration will be $100 for all classes in 2015, while the Sr. 125cc Shifter Champion will be the only class awarded a ride to the SuperNationals in Las Vegas for 2015.

Additionally, $20 from each registration will be collected for end of the season cash awards. The total amount will be split among the first, second and third place championship finishers in all two-stroke and four-stroke classes, except for Sr. 125cc Shifter.

2015 class offerings for CKC and IKC include: Novice, Jr. Briggs/ Honda, Sr. Briggs/ Honda, Master Briggs/ Honda, Sr. Rotax, Sr. DD2 Rotax, Sr. Master Rotax, DD2 Master, Micro Max, Mini Max, Jr. Rotax, Jr. 125cc Shifter, Sr. 125cc Shifter, Sr. 125cc Master. All two-stroke classes will run based on TaG rules with no engine modifications, with Briggs and Honda classes each running their own rules set.
