PR: Driver News – Kyle Edgar/K&K Continue Winning Ways

Kyle Edgar, aboard his K&K Cobra OTB kart, and coming fresh off a win at WRKC Oktoberfest Grand Prix in Junior Heavy, won Heat 1, Pre final and Final in Briggs Junior at “The Briggs Fall Classic”  hosted by Lombardy Karting on the weekend.

For his winning efforts, he was awarded a complete, new Briggs LO206 Engine compliments of C2 Kart Supply.

Since parking his previous chassis in favour of the K&K Cobra OTB, and in only a handful of events, Egdar  has captured a BSRKC Bear, won WRKC Oktoberfest, won at SKC, and sat outside pole for the final at the ASN Nationals at Mt.Tremblant, before settling for 5th to eventual race winner, K&K teammate Trevor Rancier.

“Pretty impressive results, in a short amount of time”, stated K&K team owner, Kevin Barrick. Based on these results, Barrick has confirmed, Edgar will be part of the 2013 K&K sponsored effort in the senior class, alongside Jon Treadwell, Trevor Rancier and Marc Stehle. There are even rumors veteran racer, Keith Barrick, is down close to race weight.

The 2013 K&K junior contenders will be comprised of Keidon Fletcher, Phoenix Humphrey, Andre Fiorini and Zachary and Jordan Latimer.

K&K’s intent for 2013 is to continue to be a dominant force in 4 cycle racing, from club to the ASN Nationals. Equipment and drivers are in place to have another banner, fun year for K&K Kart North America.

There is not much K&K hasn’t won in 4-cyle racing, but with these drivers on board, Barrick adds jokingly, “there’s not much we shouldn’t win this year.”
