PR: Deadline for SKUSA SuperNationals XVI Hotel Room Block coming this Friday

Just over a month remains before 500 drivers from around the world converge on Las Vegas for the running of the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XVI on November 14-18. The Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino will be buzzing with excitement throughout the week, with a large percentage of the facility’s patrons wearing karting gear. To ensure drivers, teams, family and friends enjoy their time at the SKUSA Pro Tour finale event, the Rio and Superkarts! USA are confirming just a few days are left before the special pricing on hotel rooms expires.

“The Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino has been a great partner for the last five years,” commented Superkarts! USA CEO Tom Kutscher. “Year after year, our racers enjoy themselves both on and off the track, thanks in part to our entire staff and the facilities here at the Rio. You can’t ask for any better rooms and amenities in Las Vegas at the discounted price we offer. With plenty of diverse restaurants and entertainment within the facility, you never have to leave the grounds.”

SuperNationals competitors, teams, and spectators are encouraged to book their reservations for their stay before the October 12 deadline – and before prices return to their normal rates. With SKUSA’s discount, the average price per night is $80.14 based on a seven-night stay. The weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) price rate averages around $105 per night. To secure your room, click on the following link (http://www.totalrewards.com/hotel-reservations?propCode=RLV&groupCode=SRSNA12). When booking, you will only be required to pay for one night with tax to reserve your stay (five rooms maximum) – rather than the entire amount of your stay, like other hotels require. This deposit makes a big difference.

“We’ve been talking with the Rio staff and understand that a number of SKUSA racers are booking directly or indirectly with the hotel by finding other promotional packages, rather than through the Superkarts! USA room block. That’s fine. I’m always happy to see people saving money where they can, as we try to, as well,” continued Kutscher. “What we need, however, is racers and teams to confirm their reservations at the Rio with us if they did not use the SKUSA promotional code. The number of rooms and nights people stay at the hotel further strengthens our relationship with them, as well as having a major impact on future races at the facility. If you have found better package pricing, great – just let us know so we have the proper numbers to report and track as the event unfolds.”

Entries are still streaming in, with just 35 days until the 2012 SKUSA SuperNationals – and just 3 weeks before the pre-entry deadline. S2 Semi-Pro, TaG Master, and TaG Junior still remain sold out. TaG Senior, expanded to the cap of 120 entries just a week and a half ago, still has spots available, along with S1 Pro Stock Moto and S5 Junior. Fewer spots remain in S4 Master Stock Moto, TaG Cadet and KZ2. The deadline for pre-registration is November 1 at midnight. After this date, entry at the track increases to $700 (contingent upon remaining availability in the class).
