More Exciting Information Released for Canadian Rotax Summer Challenge in Alberta

With only a couple weeks to go until the inaugural Canadian Rotax Summer Challenge, organizers are amping up and are very excited for their upcoming event and with that excitement they have released more details and prize information.

Kicking off the weekend Rotax DD2 and DD2 Masters will have a showdown of their own on the evening of Friday July 31 with the winner of DD2 Masters earning a ticket to join Team Canada at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals this fall in Portugal. Runner-Up will receive entry fee to the US Open Championship Final in Las Vegas, Nevada with third place earning paid entry into the 2016 Rotax Challenge of the Americas final weekend.

Saturdays action will be jam-packed with a full lineup of Rotax Max and Briggs & Stratton classes on tap, all vying for excellent prizes. For more information about the Rotax Max classes and their prizes, click here. 


Briggs & Stratton Action Under the Lights!

For all Briggs & Stratton classes that exceed 10 entries, the winner will take home a cool $750.00 for their victory with second earning $500.00, third $300.00, fourth $200.00 and fifth $100.00. A bonus of $250.00 will be paid out to any driver sweeping the day’s action by winning both PreFinals and the Final.

Briggs Junior 1 and Junior 2 will utilize Mojo D1 tires. Briggs Senior Light and Senior Heavy will utilize Mojo D2 tires and both classes will run under ASN Canada rules. Pump gas will be supplied at the track and will be included in the drivers registration fee.

Drivers may only utilize one set of tires for the event and entry fee for all Briggs & Stratton classes is only $150.00!

The event format will see drivers Qualify, run two 10-lap PreFinal races followed by 12-lap Finals.

Important Info:

Registration for the event must be completed on motorsportreg.com by July 24 to avoid late fees. All registration at the event will include an additional $25.00 late fee.
