Following Margay’s successful rebirth into the Canadian karting market over the past two seasons, Margay Racing and Le Circuit Quyon (LCQ) Karting are looking to expand their reach across the country by attracting new product dealers.
With LCQ operating in Canada’s Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau), dealers are being sought for the remainder of Ontario and the Eastern provinces. There is also interest in having Margay represented in Western Canada.
“Since the 2013 re-introduction of the Margay brand in Canada, we have done a great job exhibiting the modern look and feel of the new product line”, explains LCQ’s Paul Lalonde. “Now it’s time for us to expand our coverage across Canada, and we are open to interested parties contacting us for information on adding Margay’s line of karts to their dealer networks.”
The Margay Brava is an ideal chassis for 4-cycle competition, and has run up front in the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship (ECKC) and the Canadian Karting Championships in all Briggs & Stratton divisions. Margay also has chassis for 2-cycle disciplines, and has a 50-year heritage as one of the lone American kart manufacturers successfully competing in a sport flooded with European products. Margay is a 12-time World Karting Association Manufacturers Champion.
“The Margay line is reasonably priced, excellent quality, and designed to be very user friendly for competition,” continues Lalonde. “We would like to establish a dealer in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), as well as in Moncton, New Brunswick or one of the other Atlantic provinces. We really see the sport expanding in the East.”
Great dealer incentives are available, and those interested are suggested to contact LCQ as soon as possible to begin discussions for the 2015 racing season.
