K&K Karts Adds RK Kartsport As Alberta Chassis Dealer

K&K Kart, winners of the 2015 ASN Canadian National Karting Championship in Briggs & Stratton LO206 Senior, has appointed RK Kartsport as the exclusive dealer for the K&K Kart chassis in the province of Alberta.

The relatively new chassis brand, developed for 4-cycle racing, has been very successful in the Briggs & Stratton LO206 categories in Eastern Canada, specifically with their Ontario based race team, has been looking at growth of the brand over the past season and is excited to add Rob Kazakowski and his operation as a dealer to service the Alberta region and more specifically the EDKRA and CRKC karting clubs.

K&K Kart has also hinted at adding USA and International dealers in the near future.

“I’m very excited to sign on as a dealer for K&K Kart, and to start up RK Kartsport.  I’ve been very pleased running a K&K Kart with strong results right out of the box at EDKRA club races since 2014, when the EDKRA moved the club 4-cycle program to the Briggs LO206.   I couldn’t ignore the incredible results the K&K Kart has achieved in the ECKC and at the ASN Nationals, in Briggs Junior, Senior, and Masters, and combined with the unbeatable price for such a great quality kart, it became obvious to me that the K&K Kart is the right kart at the right time for the Alberta market, where Briggs LO206 racing has seen a lot of growth in the past couple years, after years as a Rotax market.

After running a few races aboard my K&K Kart in 2014 and 2015, former WCC Briggs and Rotax Champion Skylar Dunning, is already committed to running a full schedule of events in Alberta for 2016 with both the EDKRA and CKRC in Briggs Senior aboard a new 2016 K&K Cobra OTB, while I continue to run Briggs Masters.  We also have plans for some bigger one-off events, with the goal of taking home the big cash prizes at the 2016 Summer Challenge, and we’re working on attending the ASN Nationals later in the year.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure working with some incredible people in this sport throughout Western Canada.   And from the first time I contacted him in 2014, I’ve had nothing but a great experience working with Kevin Barrick, which gives me a lot of confidence knowing that I have the support needed to be successful moving forward representing K&K Kart.”
